Necta Montes (b. 1970) is a member of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP). She first joined SCM Philippines in 1982 and later held positions as General Secretary of SCM Philippines and General Secretary of the Philippine Christian Youth Federation. A speaker of Filipino (plus two local dialects) and English, Necta majored in psychology in her Bachelor of Science. She is currently continuing study for a Master’s degree in Theology at the Asian Theological Seminary. Prior to taking up the position of Asia-Pacific Regional Secretary, Necta was Resource and Development Officer for ISIS International, a Manila-based NGO dedicated to women’s information and communication needs. Before she moved to Isis International, Necta held the position of WSCF Asia-Pacific Regional Women’s Co-ordinator. Necta has also served as a member of the WSCF Executive Committee.

Sunita Suna (b.1974) joined SCM in 1995 and is a member of the Lutheran Church. A speaker of Oriya, Hindi and English, Sunita has studied education (B.Ed.), arts (B.A.), development (Dip.D.S.) and gender analysis. She has worked on women’s issues in a number of ecumenical and human rights organisations in India and more broadly in the Asia-Pacific region. Sunita’s first SCM role in women’s concerns was as national staff for SCM India, in the role of Study Secretary - Women’s Desk. Prior to her appointment as Asia-Pacific Regional Women’s Co-ordinator, Sunita served as WSCF Inter-Regional Women’s Co-ordinator for two years based at the WSCF Africa Office in Nairobi.

Daw Yin Yin Maw is a senior friend of the University Christian Work (SCM Myanmar) and is currently serving in the Church of the Province of Myanmar (Anglican) as the Department Head of the Mothers Union. Yin Yin Maw is also the Vice President of the Myanmar Council of Churches for 2008-2010. Yin Yin became a member of SCM since 1981 during her University years, attending subsequent programs, attending an Intercultural Course at St. Scholastica College sponsored by WSCF AP and later becoming a member of the WSCF AP Regional Women’s Committee from 1993-95.

Yustin Pasaribu is a graduate of Diponegoro University, Semarang, in Central Java, where he majored in Industrial Engineering. Since 1999 Yustin has been a member of Indonesian movement GMKI and was part of the GMKI National Executive Committee as Treasurer from 2004-2006. He served as the Chairperson for General, Communication and International Affairs from 2006-2008. Yustin currently serves as a member of the WSCF AP Region’s Human Rights Committee.
