Prayer For Peace
October 25, 2003
In the ecumenical spirit and partnership, the Myanmar Ecumenical Youth And Students Team, comprising of SCM, MCC-Youth, YMCA, YWCA and Catholic Youth, organised a “Prayer For Peace” programme on 25 October at the Myanmar Ecumenical Sharing Center in Yangon. 65 youth and students participated in this activity. This activity is a part of the national level gathering under the Asia-Pacific Student and Youth Week celebrations organised by the Ecumenical Asia-Pacific Student and Youth Network (EASYNet).
Technological Students Study Seminar
August 11-18, 2003
This Study Seminar was held on at Mandalay and 19 students took part. This programme focused on the will of God and Science, Information Technology, Faith, Science and Technology. The biblical reflection emphasized on the notion of “Technology being a part of Creation”.
Women Leadership Training
July 27-31, 2003
This training programme was held on 27-31 July with 54 students from the local units. This programme aims at promoting the leadership role of women students in the local units. The topics presented were Social Justice, Leadership, Human Trafficking, Legal Rights, Ethics, Sexuality and Spirituality.
